Tiong Bahru Bakery Singapore - hotspot | UrbanMoms.nl

Anouk van der EL, creator of the TimeCapsules and Little Quote Jar, lives with her husband and two sons in Singapore for a year now. Especially for UrbanMoms, she puts her favorite breakfast, coffee and lunch hotspots in a row.

If the big brands like Chanel, Louis Vuitton fall outside your budget and taste -like with me-, then the neighborhoods Tiong Bahru and Little India (especially Haji Lane) offer a solution! In these neighborhoods you will find the smaller boutique shops and cheerful coffee and lunch hotspots. But where should you actually go?

PS Cafe – 28b Harding Road (Dempsey Hill)
Tasty menu and crazy interior. There are 3 PS Cafe’s but this one is my favorite, because you can sit outside. Ideal for a weekend lunch with friends.

Tiong Bahru Bakery – 56 Eng Hoon Street #01-70
Tasty sandwiches, coffee and juices. See top pic.

Tiong Bahru Market
To get into the Singapore vibe, just walk in here! Dozens of small Asian eateries on the first floor and a fish and flower market on the ground floor.

Plain Vanilla – 1D Yong Siak Street
Divine cakes, cupcakes and coffee!

Shop Wonderland – 37 Haji Lane
A cheerful coffee shop on the first floor with a nice shop.

Fullerton Hotel – 1 Fullerton Square
Breakfast in style on the terrace of the Fullerton. Super tasty for Saturday or Sunday, and very affordable.
