A tiny little craft project for during the holidays.

Fat chance that you will be somewhere near a beach this summer, whether it’s in your own country or somewhere else that doesn’t mind for this project. The only thing you’ll need is some good pair of eyes, a bucket and a thin rope.

Shells are easy to find when on a beach, especially when it’s low tide there are all kinds of things to be found. Go and have a look with your little one and search for some shells. While looking we found a good amount of small shells with little holes in them and that’s how we came up with this project. To make a necklace..

The nicest one (with holes) we brought home. Cleaned them, cut the rope in the right size, put the rope through the hole, made a knot and that ’s it. This was the final result and some happy (and proud) faces!
