Last Saturday, we’ve put 22 lucky ladies in the spotlight during our second edition of Meet Up & Shop in Rotterdam, an offline shopping event for a selected number of followers and their BFF! UrbanMoms arranged ‘me-time’ for these busy (urban) moms.
First stop: the best coffee in the Netherlands at UEB
We gathered at the impressive Market Hall. The morning started with some rain, but that didn’t spoil the fun. From there, we walked to the Urban Espresso Bar at the Botersloot, because we had to start the day with a cup of good coffee. Last October, the Urban Espresso Bar proclaimed by the AD serving the best coffee in the Netherlands, so we had to go there.
Second stop: fashionstore Louen
After coffee, we could easily cross over to the second stop, namely fashion store Louen: a boutique for ladies fashion founded by Wendy at the Pannekoekstraat. Along with Tessy and Willianne the girls helped our ladies with advice and questions. And they arranged a set of clothes for the moms, including a super cool and personal drawing made by Willianne. There were fine juices by Sajoer and SUE (sweet without sugar) had provided some delicious sweets. And obviously UrbanMoms arranged a special Meet Up & Shop discount. But after an hour, looking, fitting and shopping, it was time to leave for the next stop.
Third stop: concept store Bonbon on the Block
From the Pannekoekstraat over the Coolsingel to the Westblaak. Where is Bonbon on the Block located. One of my favorite children’s shops in Rotterdam and always a joy to visit them. After rebuilding, the shop became twice as large and Lenny, Marieke, Melanie and Martine were waiting there with delicious drinks and bagels from the Bagel Bakery. Of course, UrbanMoms arranged again some shopping discount.
Everyone went home with a well-stocked goodiebag
Of course, everyone went home with a well-stocked goodiebag worth more than € 150. UrbanMoms arranged for everyone a NYNstyles a poster, a Kirsty Nagel scarf, a Fabulous Mama, a delicious treat by SUE, a voucher from Petit Jule, a complimentary juice of Sajoer and a Ouders van Nu magazine. Louen sponsored a lovely Louen the Label shirt and Bonbon on the Block sponsored a discount voucher, an ABC poster Mausbird x BBOTB, a notebook of Studio Ditte, a toy and a poster/purse/card by Little Indians.
It was a really great day, where we saw many happy faces! And after all, that’s what we do it all for!
Loved meeting you and hope to see you back soon in Rotterdam!!
