Hi, I’m Lonneke and I live in Eindhoven with husband and 2 kids. I’m self-employed and I blog on Bubblemint.nl too. I love design, citytrips (Stockholm, NY, Berlin, London… but cities in Holland as well!) and I love to go out with the kids! In Eindhoven a lot has changed the last few years and that’s a very good thing! There is a lot of creativity and especially the trending area Strijp-S (old Philipsterrain) is a good example of that.
In late January, a new concept in Eindhoven opened it’s doors. An old church in district Gestel was transformed into trampoline paradise; Superjump XL. Wednesday mornings (10 till 11) are reserved especially for toddlers. So I took my kids (2 and almost 4) and take a look.
The idea that a nice old church gets a cool new destination sounds more romantic than it looks. The church is certainly not beautiful or attractive, and the trampoline concept quite glaring. But on the other hand… it was great pleasure to be there. Nowhere did I see such a huge space filled with contiguous trampolines, that beckons like a wonderful playground. The space and freedom to move is awesome and very safe additionally. My toddlers loved it and after 5 minutes Noa said; “Mama, I would like to live here!”
After they jumped out of all their energy, we drank coffee and lemonade on the elevated terrace from where you get to see the whole ‘arena’. The kids enjoyed it and we will definitely go back (I think dad likely will take his chance aswel).
Kinds of activities are organized at Superjump XL, for all ages. From children to (top) sport! Take a look at SuperjumpXL.com for more information.
