Hi, I’m Lonneke and I live in Eindhoven with husband and 2 kids. I’m self-employed and I blog on Bubblemint.nl too. I love design, citytrips (Stockholm, NY, Berlin, London… but cities in Holland as well!) and I love to go out with the kids! In Eindhoven a lot has changed the last few years and that’s a very good thing! There is a lot of creativity and especially the trending area Strijp-S (old Philipsterrain) is a good example of that.
Once again a nice place at the heart of Eindhoven! Meneer de Boer (Mister de Boer), a breakfast restaurant in a beautiful old building at the Keizersgracht. The idea is breakfast-all-day.
And what a nice idea… Especially since our children find it so cozy to have breakfast, when we’ve got the time! The breakfasts they offer are very diverse: from extensive, organic to anti-hangover… There’s something for everyone.
The kids played with stuff from the shelf, while waiting for their breakfast and then they feast on delicious fresh dishes. They chose, without a doubt, for the pancakes with red fruit and chocolate spread. The good coffee that is serverd, comes from the Stadsbranderij (City roasting company). In short, a fine place for a lazy breakfast, a relaxed workplace or a perfect stop when you’re with your kids.
There are also well-stocked picnic baskets available to order. Cool idea!
