Sometimes you run into shoes that are not necessarily super stylish, but are just fun! Just like the Skribbies sneakers! During my daily internet search for nice clothes and gadgets, I ran into these hi-top sneakers from England. These are sneakers you can draw on, so we had to test that ourselves! Because the sneakers are available from size 28 and up, I was looking for a test pilot with this size. Noé –who was a model on UrbanMoms.nl before– wanted to come again, yay!
The Skribbies turned out to be a very creative project, because drawing on shoes is something you don’t do everyday! From the moment Noé (and Flint) opened the shoebox until the final result, the kids were busy for like 1,5 hours. And the fun thing is that you can make a new design time after time!
Some information about Skribbies. The outside of these sneakers are made of a type of plastic you can draw on. They are delivered with 6 special markers, a wristband and monster stickers. With the wristband you can easily remove the drawing so you can start again. ‘Draw-wipe-draw’ as they say at Skribbies.
Because the drawings are made on plastic, they are pretty vulnerable. And the artworks are probably not suited for heavy rains. But that doesn’t really matter, ’cause you can easily make a new drawing! The Skribbies are a hit over here. Noé was smiling ear to ear when I told her she could take the sneakers home! I had to follow Flint around everywhere for the rest of the day, because he thought he could draw on everything now ;) But we love them! And how ‘bout you?
Skribbies are available online from size 28 and up in pink, blue and black (our favourite!) and you pay €42,96 excl. shipping costs of about €14.
