Hi! Let me introduce myself: my name is Elise and together with my boyfriend I live in the heart of Rotterdam. 2015 is going to be an exiting and good year. We’re expecting our first baby early March, a girl! Next to my passion for scents, make-up and skincare I have another love for interior and fashion. Now that I will be having a daughter, I have developed a new hobby; discovering and buying baby-fashion and gadgets; especially for girls!
Slowly all sale items disappear from the shops and room is made for a fresh, new spring collection. I told myself not to buy so much for the little girl anymore, because her closet is already pretty full and she’s not even born yet!
But it’s hard, because the new collection is coming in everywhere and it’s great again. I have to confess I couldn’t really resist…
Prints prints prints
I noticed that all the clothes I bought or got as a present, had a print. We’ve seen a lot of prints last winter and I noticed that this trend continues this spring, but now with a tropical touch!
A print with dancing flamingos, palm trees, juicy pineapples and water melons, but the wild animal prints are also still present in the new collection. This in combination with fresh sorbet colours, makes me have the spring fever.
My spring favourites
One of the things I bought is the fresh & fruity suit of Bobo Choses. And these harem pants with pineapples of CarlijnQ make you happy right?
I also couldn’t resist this Tumble ‘n Dry suit…
And don’t forget the Zara mini collection!
Personally I love to combine the more outspoken prints with for example a black and white print, like this polka dot romper or the black and white pants of Little Indians combined with the Bobo Choses suit.
For now I’ll have to keep it all in the closet. The little girl is still ‘on her way’. But not for long… Keep you posted! :P
