GO OUT WITH KIDS: THE PETER PAN CLUB IN AMSTERDAM by Myra
Myra is a lawyer and mom of twe sons Just (’10) and Quinten (’12) and she lives in Amsterdam. Regularly, she goes out with the boys on friday, her day off. Of course her boys are super sweet, but also real boys who make a lot of noice, knocking over things, making a mess and want to run around. So you can assume that whatever she’s doing, is in any case ‘kids proof’! I've a little break in writing blogs, but sometimes I find something I really like to share with you! One of the people I admire a lot, is an old colleague of mine: Genna. She wasn’t afraid to give up the ' security ' of the job as a lawyer, to discorver what really makes her happy. WITH YOUR FEET IN THE SAND IN THE HEART OF AMSTERDAM by Evelien
Evelien is mommy of Piet (2010), Tycho (2012) and pregnant with her third child (a girl!) and lives with pleasure with husband and kids in Amsterdam. She loves to discover places where the kids can freely move and play and where it looks and feels good for the parent(s) as well, because that can be a challenge sometimes. Luckily there are increasingly more places where this combination is a match. In the coming blogs she will share her findings with you guys. Strand Zuid (Beach South) has been on the edge of the Beatrixpark and the RAI for a couple of years. On the waterfront, so you can go there by boat too. Every year they change (read: improve) it! Since May 1st they’re open for the Summer season and recently I went there with Piet and Tycho, a bit insecure though if it would be okay with kids. To be sure I brought some spades and buckets, knowing there would at least be sand. (more…)
