CHILDRENS THEATER IN AMSTERDAM by guest blogger Myra

Let me introduce myself; my name is Myra, I’m a lawyer and mother of twe sons Just (3) and Quinten (1,5). I live in Amsterdam, with my boyfriend and two kids. Regularly I go out with the boys on friday, my day off. Of course my boys are super sweet ;) but also real boys who make a lot of noice, knocking over things, making a mess and want to run around. So you can assume that wherever I’m going and whatever I’m doing is in any case “kids proof”! In downtown Amsterdam at the Kerkstraat 174 (off the Vijzelstraat), is kids theater the Toverknol. And for those who have never been there with kids: GO! (more…)

HOTSPOT: HUYGENSDOK, A RELIEF IN THE CITY by guest blogger Myra

Once upstairs, you enter a large room with cosy couches and tables. It’s a bit of a search when you meet there with a group of friends, but once you get there Huygens'dok is a relief in the city. THE BEST INSIDER TIPS FOR CHRISTMAS SHOPPING IN ANTWERP by guest blogger Anaïs

Let me introduce myself: my name is Anaïs (30), Lou’s mom (21 months old) and I work at the sales department of fashion company Hop Agenturen. I have been living in beautiful Brabant for five years now, with Han. But as a true Antwerp girl, my heart still skips a beat for this beautiful city along the Schelde. That’s why you can find me there almost every week, cause it feels like coming home every time! The last few weeks I have had so little time for myself and my friends that it was high time for a little ‘me’ time and quality time with my girls. Christmas is coming, so it’s the perfect time to go to Antwerp alone: meet the girls and catch up, but also a good time to nose around for the Christmas shopping. (more…)

KICKING HORSE: A NICE SPOT TO HAVE LUNCH OR COFFEE IN THE HAGUE

To start, let me introduce myself; I am Dani, independent photographer and I live in The Hague with love of my life and creative partner Jonas and our wonderful son Raaf, who just turned one. The Hague is a great, lively city to live in for young and old, especially in the summer it’s lovely to spend your days on the Hague’ beaches. But thankfully there is enough to do in the winter as well! In the stylish 'Statenkwartier' in The Hague, you’ll find the atmospheric shoppingstreet The Fred (Frederik Hendriklaan). (more…)
