Last year, I went to Marrakech for a day, but that was with a guide so I couldn’t wait to discover the city with my love. After a 2 hour flight (4 hours from Amsterdam) you enter a completely different world. Because our place to sleep was close to the famous Diemaa el Fna (the main square of Marrakech) we were dropped by our cab driver on this hysterical square. Getting on a plane with a toddler is not an easy ask for most parents. The first time will be particularly exciting. But no matter how often you fly, it will continue to be an unpredictable adventure. Will he sleep? Will our plane neighbours be tolerant? What if he throws up or poos or is just being really messy? What if he is screaming the whole way there, what if I can’t get him to sit still? So many worries and so many question marks.
