Laura works as a freelancer in the field of online communication and social media. In addition, she has her own blog Laura & James where she writes about green alternatives. Last year, she gave birth to her son James. Before his birth, she already chose for sustainable things, but now with James she even thinks it’s more important. And we’re, of course, curious about what kind of sustainable things she brings with her in her diaper bag.

Essentials according to Laura

Laura has a sustainable stroller from Greentom in white with olive green. Her diaper bag is the Fly Violet Maxi (limited edition) from O My Bag. She was actually looking for a sustainable bag which also looked nice. Unfortunately, she couldn’t find it and that’s why she bought a regular bag which she uses as diaper bag. The bag is still more special than a regular bag, because it’s made in a fair way.

Sustainable items which are nice and good

Her favorite item in the diaper bag is the wetbag. This is a waterproof zip bag where you can put , for example, clean clothes in one pocket and dirty ones in the other pocket. Ideal during a day out with the kids.
Laura uses all the care products of Naïf for James. These smell good, work well and are made of natural ingredients. So Naïf is also in the diaper bag. Sometimes, Laura even put a little bit of body lotion in the hair of James, to make a cool hairstyle.
She also has washable diapers made of bamboo with her. These are, in her eyes, better than the chemical disposable diapers. And James has never had diaper rash. In addition, a swaddle from Modern Burlap is also never missing from her bag. These are from organic cotton and handy for little accidents, shadow and as a picnic blanket!
There are also disposable baby wipes from Natra Care in the diaper bag. These are made of organic cotton and super gentle for the bottoms. And of course, a sustainable pacifier of Hevea must not be forgotten!

James doesn’t really like stuffed animals, but he loves his wooden cars from Pinch Toys. Nowadays, one always has a place in the diaper bag.

And these items are in her diaper bag:

  1. Washable diaper from Bamboozle
  2. Wet wipes from Natra Care
  3. Swaddle from Modern Burlap
  4. Drinking bottle from Lifefactory
  5. Bag from O My Bag
  6. Wetbag from Thirsties
  7. Natural rubber pacifier from Hevea
  8. Wooden cars from Pinch Toys
  9. Care products from Naïf
