Ibiza, heard a lot about it but never been there! But last September, we went to this great island! And in this blog, you’ll find my Ibiza tips and favorite hotspots.
We stayed on Playa d’en Bossa beach, near the airport. From there, you can take a boat to Ibiza town (besides a taxi). Try it! In the city, you’ll find the big stores (Zara, etc.) but in the small streets you will find the cute little boutiques with pretty special (homemade) clothing, jewelry and anything else you want. It’s also nice to walk through the castle. Here you can find squares with cozy restaurants and a very nice view!
Fine restaurants and fresh juices
And if you’re in Spain, you obviously have to eat tapas. And you do this at La Bodega (book in advance!). Here you can enjoy delicious tapas and a buzz underneath the castle (kids proof).
After that, get an ice cream at Vivi’s Creamery, try the green tea, loooooovely! Everything is ‘all natural’ here and looks super sweet.
You discover the most beautiful beaches by car
I thought it was really fun to explore the island by car. The North of the Island, have the most beautiful coves with the azure blue and clear water. Such as Cala d’en Serra. You’ve come across some bumpy trails, but it’s worth it. It is a small beach with a ‘box’ where you can get delicious fresh cooked food.
Also I recommend Playa Benirràs. Besides that this beach is known for the sunset, which is fantastic here, you can find there beachclub Elements aswel. There’s a very relaxed atmosphere at Elements, which you never want to leave. You can also enjoy wonderful fresh fish and salads or a nice juices.
From hippy market to fancy club
When you are in Ibiza, you need to go the hippy market. For example, there is the hippy market on Wednesday at Pun
ta Arabi (don’t go there!) and on Saturday you have the market Las Dalias. Personally, I found the latter much more enjoyable. This market was a lot less massive and what they sold was slightly different.
Of course a visit to Ibiza wouldn’t be complete without a visit to one of the clubs. Every evening you can choose from at least four famous DJ’s who spin in one of the clubs. For example, there’s Pacha, Space etc. We treated ourselves to a night in Pacha, including VIP table whoop!
Ibiza has surprised me! It is a beautiful island, not far from Holland, plenty to do and a great place to relax! Also perfect for a short trip of 3 days. Enjoy!
