Hi, I’m Lonneke and I live in Eindhoven with husband and 2 kids. I’m self-employed and I blog on Bubblemint.nl too. I love design, citytrips (Stockholm, NY, Berlin, London… but cities in Holland as well!) and I love to go out with the kids! In Eindhoven a lot has changed the last few years and that’s a very good thing! There is a lot of creativity and especially the trending area Strijp-S (old Philipsterrain) is a good example of that.
Usine is a lovely hotspot in Eindhoven where we love te go for coffee, lunch or diner. This industrial building in the Lighttower of Philips, used to be a factory where lightballs where made. The pride of Eindhoven! The ambiance of the historic industry is still there.
You can bring your kids easily. There’s enough space and in the ‘Petite Usine’ corner, little ones can play while you’re enjoying your cappuccino.
At the entrance, there’s a small kiosk where there sell small stuff ‘Usine style’. Besides that, Usine is laying super central and it’s easy to combine a visit to the centre of Eindhoven. Usine (Lichttoren 6, Eindhoven) is open 7 days a week.
